Matsutake Rice Bowl
Ingredients:

1 cup Matsutake mushrooms, cleaned and thinly sliced

2 cups cooked Japanese short-grain rice

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon mirin (Japanese rice wine)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

Heat a pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sesame oil and sliced Matsutake mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are fragrant and cooked.

Pour in the soy sauce and mirin. Stir to coat the mushrooms evenly and let them cook for an additional 2 minutes.

In serving bowls, place a generous portion of cooked Japanese short-grain rice.
