Wood Ear
Wood Ear mushrooms, also known as Tree Ear mushrooms or Black Fungus, have a distinctive appearance with thin, velvety dark-brown to black caps that resemble an ear or a leaf. They have a mild flavor and a slightly crunchy, gelatinous texture when rehydrated and cooked. Wood Ear mushrooms are often used in Asian cuisines for their unique texture and appearance.
