On July 18th, DR Delicacy and The Lymbar came together to host an exquisite celebration of National Caviar Day. With Owner/Chef David Cordua at the helm, the event welcomed 60 guests to The Lymbar's stunning restaurant in Midtown Houston, located at the Ion. The evening was a delightful showcase of culinary artistry, featuring a unique menu that highlighted the luxurious taste and versatility of caviar.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a welcome caviar bump of osetra black caviar, setting the tone for the evening's indulgence. The event featured eight meticulously crafted bites, each incorporating caviar in inventive and delicious ways:
1. Lobster Corndog with Bourbon Smoked Trout Roe
This bite-sized delight combined the sweetness of lobster with the smokiness of bourbon smoked trout roe, enhanced by a tangy horseradish crème fraîche and fresh dill.
2. Fried Chicken Chicharron
A crispy chicken chicharrone paired with a rich egg yolk custard, topped with kaluga black caviar and a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
3. Caviar Caesar Salad Lettuce Cups
Crisp lettuce cups filled with a modern twist on Caesar salad, featuring escargot, osetra black caviar, micro croutons, and fresh parsley.
4. Branzino Filet with Osetra Gold Caviar
Delicate branzino filet accompanied by osetra gold caviar, hollandaise sauce, asparagus, and the unique flavor of pickled hibiscus.
5. Caviar Oreos
A creative dessert featuring squid ink blinis sandwiched with a creamy mascarpone filling and topped with osetra gold caviar.
6. Tres Leches Vanilla Laced Soaked Sponge Cake
This traditional dessert was elevated with Italian meringue and the briny burst of paddlefish caviar.
7. Alfajores Shortbread Cookie Sandwiches
A beloved dessert at The Lymbar, these shortbread cookies with dulce de leche were a hit among guests.
