Founded in 2014 by Diane Roederer, DR Delicacy began with a single, exquisite ingredient—truffles. After a transformative truffle hunt in Spain, Diane was inspired to introduce these rare culinary treasures to the U.S. market, starting from her own garage. Recognizing the perfect pairing between truffles and caviar, she soon expanded DR Delicacy’s offerings to include a curated selection of the finest caviars.

As demand for gourmet ingredients grew, DR Delicacy evolved from a wholesale operation to a premier destination for luxury foods. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, the company opened its warehouse to the public, making high-end ingredients more accessible to home chefs and connoisseurs. This commitment to quality and accessibility further expanded in 2022 with the launch of DR Delicacy’s mushroom program, developed in partnership with HEB and Central Market to elevate the availability of premium mushrooms.
