Ingredients
- King Trumpet Protein Mushroom Kit
- Water
- Preferred Butter or Oil
Directions
- Cut the king trumpet mushrooms into bite-sized pieces or thick slices.
- Add 1–2 tbsp oil or butter to a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the mushrooms in an even layer. Cook for 4–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk the included protein mix with water until smooth. Start with about ¼ cup water, adding a little more if needed.
- Lower the heat to low. Pour the protein mixture over the mushrooms and stir gently.
- Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the mushrooms.
- Add salt to taste and serve immediately while warm.
