Bacon & Onion Quiche

Airy and light, this quiche is destined to be a showstopper at your next brunch. The smokiness of the bacon, caramelized crunch of the onions, and fluffiness of the eggs will have those who try eagerly wanting more.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust

  • 2.2 lbs (35 oz) onion

  • 6.76 fl.oz heavy cream

  • 3 eggs

  • Salt and pepper

  • 8 oz of bacon

  • Butter

Method:

  1. Peel and slice the onions finely.

  2. Transfer chopped onions to a pan and cook in butter over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Do not let the onions get brown during this part.

  3. Cut the bacon into small pieces and add to the pan with onions. Let it cook for a few minutes (no more than 5).

  4. Take the bacon and onion mixture off of heat and transfer to a bowl.

  5. In a separate bowl, beat all eggs with cream and add salt and paper to taste. Once blended together, combine with the bacon-onion contents.

  6. Pour everything into the pie crust.

  7. Cook for 40-45 minutes in the oven at 410°F

  8. Let it cool and enjoy!
