Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole

The perfect combo of creamy and sweet, this pleasant side dish can elevate any dining experience.

Yield: 2 Servings.


  • 1 large sweet potato

  • 2 tbsp sugar 

  • 2 tbsp milk 

  • 2 tbsp of beaten egg

  • 1 tbsp melted butter  

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 

Topping Ingredients: 

  • 3 tbsp chopped pecans

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp melted butter


  1. Peel and chop sweet potato into cubes. Then place them in a small saucepan and cover with water. Boil for 20 minutes until tender. 

  2. Drain and transfer the potato into a bowl. Mash well and then stir in sugar, milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter until the consistency is smooth.

  3. Coat a baking dish with cooking spray and place contents inside. 

  4. Mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and butter and sprinkle on top of the sweet potato concoction. 

  5. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through. 

  6. Allow the dish to cool before serving and enjoy!
